Eligibility
This is an international open call. Grants are available to artists worldwide, age 18 and older, working in all visual media. There is no restriction on genre, style or subject matter–all media is eligible. We are committed to supporting artists from diverse cultural backgrounds at all stages of their professional careers. All artists are encouraged to apply.
Number of Participants
2 artists will each receive a $3,500 (USD) grant 4 artists will each receive a $1,000 (USD) grant 30 artists will be selected for a shortlist and to have their work archived at hopperprize.org All 36 grants winners and finalists will have the opportunity to publish and in depth interivew in our Journal: Insights into Contemporary Art

Program Description
The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for our Spring 2024 artist grants. We are offering $3,500 and $1,000 grants to artists and photographers around the world. For this open call, we will be providing 6 grants totaling $11,000 USD. 2 artists will each receive $3,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. This is an open call, all media eligible. Submissions will be juried by — Lauren Rosati, Associate Curator, The Metropolitan Museum of Art — Maya Brooks, Assistant Curator, North Carolina Museum of Art Our open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of these forward thinking exhibition makers. In addition to grants, 30 artists will be selected for a shortlist, and all winners will have the opportunity to publish an in depth interview about their work in our online journal.
