Eligibility
This residency is open to all international practitioners, working in any creative discipline, who would benefit from a period of uninterrupted time to focus on developing their work.
Number of Participants
Studio Faire is now accepting applications from artists, writers, musicians and all other creative practitioners and for this 4 week residency next Autumn. This 4 week self-directed residency is a self-funded residency for 1 person or 2 people sharing a double room and studio. Fees include a private double bedroom and studio, plus shared shower room with toilet, kitchen, dining room and gardens. A professional photoshoot is also included. Residents live and work in the house, studios and gardens of Studio Faire. Rooms and studios are spacious and mature gardens offer private, shaded space for work and play. Accommodation is offered on a self catering basis. 4 weeks for 1 person is 960 € or for 2 sharing is 1,260 €

Program Description
Studio Faire is a contemporary art space in South West France, providing residencies for all types of creative practitioner. The residency is based in a beautiful Maison de maître built around 1840 and still retaining its period characteristics. Situated in the market town of Nérac, in the stunning Lot-et-Garonne region, here you will find the ‘real’ unspoilt France. Your hosts have many skills between them. Colin Usher is a Photographer and Digital Media expert and Julia Douglas a Mixed Media Artist (specialising in Textiles) and Web Designer. The ‘Garage’ studio is perfect for creating all types of works of art. It has a large North facing double door so good natural light. The 'Living Room' studio is a large room and has a polished wooden floor, ideal for movement material. It has two windows onto the front of the house and one glass door out onto the garden. Studio Faire offers all creative practitioners a change of pace and the space to create.
