Program Description

CAMP is excited to announce "Comedy Writing & Performance", a five-day residential workshop led by Josie Long, Jonny Donahoe and John-Luke Roberts. Josie Long is one of the most respected comedians of her generation. She started stand-up at age 14, and went on to win the BBC New Comedy Award in 1999. She has performed stand-up around the world, with her 2016 show Something Better selling out two weeks at the Soho Theatre followed by two weeks at Barrow Street Theatre (New York). Jonny Donahoe is an actor, comedian, playwright, screenwriter, broadcaster and musician - his one-man show "Every Brilliant Thing", (which he co-wrote and originally performed), has played more than six hundred times over four continents, including five months off-Broadway at The Barrow Street Theatre. John-Luke Roberts is the British writer on Maximum Fun's hit international podcast "International Waters", and the creator of BBC Radio's "Spats".
