Eligibility

-Due to high demand our annual One-Week Residency has been extended through 09/30/19. This one-week intensive is for artists who desire a residency experience but are unable to commit to a longer stay. -Admission is based on review of portfolio or manuscript (see Apply section on website) -Residency program and the environmental surroundings are geared for adults only.

Number of Participants

Monte Azul Center for the Arts offers 4 individual casitas. All casitas are generous in size and come with a private bath, kitchenette & private work area. The Residency program is intended for individuals, usually accommodating four artists at a time; collaborating partners and spouses with prior approval. Casitas can accommodate a maximum of two people with prior approval and an additional fee. ​

We offer an inclusive residency program, where diversity is a creative advantage Example practices: Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Writing, Mixed Media and Screen Printing, as well as private studio visits and discussion.
