Eligibility

The ONE + ONE application adresses international artists who want to develop and present their work in Athens in dialogue with each other. Artist duos OR individual artists may apply for the ONE+ONE program. Appicants must be 30+ years old. How to apply: Read the program details below and send us your application via email with including your statement, CV and your motivation to participate in the ONE + ONE residency project. Include also website or other links if available (no social media pages or blog) plus or 5-8 images of your work.

Program Description

ONE + ONE is a residency and exhibition project for international artists who want to explore Athens and develop a work proposal/ presentation / performance / urban intervention / open door / exhibition in dialogue with each other. ONE + ONE provides shared accommodation and working space in central Athens for two weeks and two (1+1) artists who wish to share experiences and take part in a duo show in Athens. The artists will present their work at the end of the residency period in a curated exhibition in downtown Athens. The ONE + ONE residency includes a customized introduction into ancient and contemporary Greek culture, individual networking advice and mentoring, as well as curatorial assistance/advice for the realization of the show. ONE + ONE also includes promotional, press and social media support, plus e-invitation+press release for the show (GR/EN) and website documentation. Please note that at the end of the 14-day residency each artist has to pay a cleaning fee of 20 €.
