Program Description
Studio Faire is a contemporary art space in South West France, providing residencies for all creative practitioners. Studio Faire is now accepting applications from writers for this 3 week residency in Spring 2020. The residency is based in a beautiful ‘Maison de maître’ built around 1830 and still retaining its period characteristics. Situated in the market town of Nérac, in the stunning Lot-et-Garonne region, on the northern edge of Gascony, here you will find the ‘real’ traditional France. Medieval Villages are surrounded by green rolling hills that lead your eye to the horizon via fruit orchards and vines. The perfect place to slow down and focus. Your Scottish hosts have many skills between them and are well connected in the area and willing to share their knowledge and contacts with you during your stay. Studio Faire offers a change of pace and the space to create.
