This Residency is for adult artists of all ages, but specifically targeted at artists confident in their creative processes and willing to work on solo projects. Much like the fall season, this residency is a quieter, more introspective option than our summer residency. There will be fewer artists on the land (only 2-4), and the focus will be on diving deep into your creative work. Applicants are asked to outline a project they are interested in working on. If you are seeking a residency where you have a pristine studio and all day completely to yourself to focus on your craft, this may not be for you. But if you want to be outdoors, collaborate, form community, and live in a tent, this just may be the perfect fit! You will need to fill out the application on our website, as well as submit a website of your work, or a CV along with examples of your work. Deadline is June 1st, 11:59pm EST
Number of Participants
There will be between 2-4 artists on the land during September. In addition, a group of 2 Sable Team Members will live and work at the land, and will be there to help with the everyday needs of the resident artists.
