Eligibility

Only New York State residents are eligible for the residency programs.Students enrolled during the 2020 calendar year are not eligible.

Number of Participants

Generally single artists. For collaborations, please submit contact information and a resume for each person in the group. Please only submit one project proposal, and if you often work as a team then you only need to submit one artist statement to represent the group as well. For groups larger than two we may need to work out covering lodging, which we address on a case-by-case basis.

Program Description

The IEA’s Experimental Visual Arts Program, Project Residency is particularly looking for artists who want to explore Digital Printmedia technologies to further and expand their working practice. Artists will have access to state-of-the art digital arts facilities. Access will include a digital large-format printing facility, and facilities for the production of laser cutting, stone lithography, polymer plate – photo intaglio, wood block, Dye Sublimation transfer prints, bookbinding and silkscreen printing. We also have access to on-demand printing for book projects. Please refer to the facilities page of the website for more specific information.
