Program Description

In summer 2020 we will bring together a group of artists from a diverse range of creative disciplines. The residency is a chance for you to learn about other artist’s approaches – to try out different ways of working and see your practice from a fresh perspective. By stepping outside of your usual ways of making work the week offers a space to refresh and nourish your creativity. Over the week artists are invited to explore how their individual artistic practices might engage with one another; whether that be through workshops, unstructured creative time, or while cooking dinner. This residency is not focused on developing specific creative projects, but is instead a week dedicated to replenishing your own creativity through collaboration and exchange with artists working in different disciplines. Fee: £350. This includes accommodation, food (vegetarian/vegan) and transport during the week (artists are collected and dropped off from Edinburgh).
