Program Description

Start sharpening brushes because we have signed another great artist for October 2022: John Wentz is in the house! John Wentz’s technique is solid as a rock, but wow, he does much more that just technique! He’s preparing a very special workshop focused on creative processes in the portrait. The goal of this workshop is to reduce and simplify the portrait to its foundations: composition, color and creation of marks; While also focusing on the creative process and resources. Have you ever thought: What can I do with my paintings beyond using the technique I know? If the answer is yes, then this workshop is for you. In other words: John Wentz will give his best so that your portraits are fresher and more expressive, and so that the technique is not a limit but a tool with which to break many barriers and blocks.
