Program Description
In order to raise awareness and promote the works created by resident artists during their stay, the Association will regularly organize visits to the studios of professionals and lovers of the Portuguese and international art world, meetings with residents and workshops with local children (among other activities). The last few days of the artist residency are dedicated to the discussion of the artist’s works in the local area in order to create an occasion in which ideas can be shared and exchanged with a view to developing the invited artist’s network. Each resident artist is invited to donate a work to the Association at the end of their residency. This work will be added to the Association's collection, which includes a range of works on the theme of Lisbon that have been donated by residents.
