Program Description

La Napoule Art Foundation (LNAF) offers Artists-In-Residence a unique environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and cultural exchange at the Château de La Napoule. Removed from the distractions of daily life and surrounded by the inspiring light of the Mediterranean, LNAF month-long residencies provide an unencumbered setting to share ideas and create. LNAF awards each resident with a $1,000 stipend, living accommodations, and a studio space in which to work. Studios are located throughout the Château property, some inside the castle and some in towers on its grounds. Residents also enjoy communal breakfasts every morning and suppers most evenings. The annual Spring and Fall residencies offer a cohort of up to eight artists the opportunity to live and work at the Château de la Napoule and Villa Marguerite. LNAF residencies foster individual artistic expression within a supportive environment of peers. Together, artists become immersed in the historical setting of La Napoule
