Program Description

live.make.share is an artist-in-resident and exchange program developed from Hanoi, Vietnam. We focus on the development of international and inter-regional relations by facilitating mobility opportunities for local practitioners as well as welcoming foreign artists and art managers to our living and working spaces. The program focuses on three main objectives; creating an environment for professional, personal and community development, assisting the production of artistic projects and encouraging the exchange of knowledge. We provide time, space and resources to individuals accepted into the program to develop and share their work in a new context. Shared space becomes shared experience and through these daily interactions the actors are able to explore, translate & negotiate the realms of their practice and through the eyes of the other reflect on the particularities of difference, in identity and in values.
