Eligibility

The residency is for a diverse field of practices from artist to educator, researcher, activist or other practitioners.

Number of Participants

Mustarinda warmly welcomes families and those with caregiving roles. Please note: This will not affect the outcome of your application but will help with the organisation of your residency period to ensure enough space for all. All visitors must be agreed with the Residency Staff first before the residency period begins. We also have one pet-friendly bedroom available, and one pet-friendly bedroom/studio. Pets are not allowed to be in common areas for allergy reasons. Please consider if your pet can adapt to this situation. Additional costs for partner are 150e/month or 75e/2 week residency period (Jan./Dec.). Prices for other lengths of stay available on request.

Program Description

Mustarinda is a community in the making since 2009. At its centre lies contemporary art, boundary-crossing research, practical experimentation, communication, education and events, all reaching towards a post-fossil culture by combining scientific knowledge and experiential artistic activity. Since its foundation, Mustarinda Association has been committed to strengthening the cultural and practical prerequisites for the ecological transition. In the coming years, the Mustarinda Association seeks to actively challenge conventions of research, production, and dissemination, focusing on the social conditions of post-fossil life and the long term possible futures in ecological reconstruction. We welcome you to think along with us during your residency and beyond. Working periods: SPRING: 2 weeks from January 16.1. - 30.1.2023 1 month periods February - May AUTUMN: 1 month periods September - November. 2 weeks from December 01.12. - 15.12.2023
