Program Description

Residency Background The One Roll Residency is our way to strengthen the photographic arts community. The program provides materials, opportunities, and technical assistance to the chosen artist. The opening and exhibition create a space for people to come together, for artists to meet each other, and to introduce people to the power of the print. Both the residency and the exhibition are an opportunity to educate our audience about the specifics and strengths of fine art printing. Residency Structure We will provide an artist with an entire roll of paper to produce either a new body of work or continue to build upon a project that they have already begun. Artists will receive studio space and the option to exhibit in our Studio 2W Gallery. The residency will last for one month, with installation to occur during the fourth week, and the exhibition will run for one month after.
