Eligibility

Juxtapose Art Fair exhibits artist-run initiatives. This means, projects or organizations that are developed and led by visual artists, outside of their individual artistic practice. Examples include artist-run exhibition spaces, studios, production facilities, activist groups, publishers, collectives, residencies, learning groups, virtual communities, etc. Please note that we do not exhibit individual artists. If you are in doubt whether you qualify as an artist-run initiative, please email us at juxtaposeartfair@gmail.com.

Number of Participants

There is no limit on the number of participants from the applying artist-run project.

Program Description

Juxtapose Art Fair's central exhibition brings a wide variety of artist-run projects together in a historic freight train station. The exhibition is not curated by theme. Instead the exhibitors are invited to present themselves in a way that best showcases their organization's profile. Exhibitors will be invited to participate in a number of networking activities. For example through our Think Tank discussion groups, they can delve into some of the most pressing issues facing the artist-run sector today.
