Eligibility

• Must be 21 or older • Must have a good command of Spanish and/or English • Must have experience in an artistic field. PRESENTATION: To be considered, candidates must download the application form and fill in all areas: • Attach a minimum of 3 images of past work (JPEG, TIF, PNG, GIF). Please limit videos to less than 5 minutes(avi, mpeg, quicktime, wav, mp3 ). • Attach PDF and images of previous work and email them to residency@centroselva.com APPLICATION AND PROJECT PRESENTATION PERIODS FOR PROGRAMMED GROUP RESIDENCIES: Residence program starting on July 29 going till August 17, 2019. Program Description

20-day residence from arrival July 29, till August 17, 2019 SELECTION: By Committee PRESENTATION OF ARTISTS’ WORK: Artist talk and Exhibition at the end of the residency Established rural setting with primitive accommodations (running water and electricity available) RESOURCES • More than 400 hectares of agricultural and livestock land, grass, reforested areas, ponds, horses, local flora and fauna • Native fruit garden • Limited hours of electricity • Limited or no internet access. For emergencies, we can go to the nearest town. ACCOMMODATION: • Shared Rooms. Outdoor Shared Studio THIS COVERS: • Lecture and workshop on Shipibo-Konibo Art • Transportation to and from local airport and residency • Group transport for residency related activities • 3 meals per day. • Pucallpa City art tour • Shared bedrooms • Mandatory farm clothing (rubber boots, rain poncho, etc.) DOES NOT COVER: • Air or bus tickets • Medical insurance • Materials and tools to carry out personal projects • Vaccines
