The advising for each applicant is personalized and that’s why usually there´s only one resident at a time. Collaboration depends on many factors that are related to the nature of each research, nevertheless, The Lab always tries to push residents into prioritizing human and social interaction in their processes and outcomes. The Lab Program has formed associations with various independent art spaces, art practitioners, and local businesses that have collaborated with each resident. Two of the main associates are Pandeo-DF & Frontera-Garibaldi, which offer to most residents housing and workspace.
