Program Description
The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) is accepting applications for the Sara Pennypacker Fellowship. Applications are open to child-focused authors. This juried fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis, and the selection will be made based on the quality of the work. The Sara Pennypacker Fellowship is a fully-funded, two-week residency that provides a private bedroom, separate studio, and all meals in a community more than 20 visual artists, writers, and composers. The Fellowship includes $500 for travel and expenses. This residency will be scheduled between October 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2019.
