Program Description

This winter, work on your next big project to the sound of a crackling fireplace in peaceful Greve in Chianti, Italy✍🏾 Artists sojourn for 1 week to 3 months (December, January, February) Most of our artists use their time at La Macina to experiment with new ideas and focus on completing big projects. Our residency overlooks olive groves and vineyards. Look out your window at the medieval town of Montefioralle. We are located along the Slow Road walking path and connected to the 948 AD Pieve di San Cresci. Get inspired. Plan an artists' trip or bring your family with you. Our artist apartments can accommodate solo artists or friends & family.
