Visual artists aged 18 and older are eligible. There is no restriction on genre, style or subject matter–all media is eligible. The Hopper Prize is open to international artists around the globe.

Program Description

The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for our Spring 2022 artist grants. We are offering $3,500 and $1,000 grants to artists & photographers around the world. For this open call, we will be providing 6 grants totaling $11,000 USD. 2 artists will each receive $3,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. This is an open call, all media eligible. Submissions will be juried by — Jody Graf, Assistant Curator, MoMA PS1 — Pamela Meadows, Curator, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art Our open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of these forward thinking exhibition makers. In addition to grants, 30 artists will be selected for a shortlist. Additional exposure is available via our online Journal as well as our Instagram feed, currently reaching an audience over 63k.
