Eligibility

The jurors of the different sections will evaluate the works by taking into considerations the international contemporary art features and according to qualitative criteria as well as research and technical abilities. The jury can evaluate all the submitted material. The jury will make the first selection by choosing 200 or more artists, who will be admitted to the second selection, after which the finalist artists, who will participate in the group exhibition at the Arsenale of Venice from March 16th to April 7th 2019, will be announced. The winners of all the other prizes will be selected by each partner (see art.4) . The selections results will be announced online on the website www.artelagunaprize.com The proclamation of the overall winners and of all the prizes will take place during the inauguration of the finalist artists exhibition on March 16th 2019. The set-up and the organization of the exhibition will be done by Arte Laguna srl and the Italian Cultural association MoCA.

Number of Participants

The 120 finalist artists selected by the international jury will participate in the major collective exhibition which will take place in Venice, at the Arsenale Nord, from March 16th to April 7th 2019 The jury, at its discretion, may decide to select a smaller or larger number of finalist artists based on qualitative and set-up reasons. The exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual catalogue. All the finalist works, included those awarded with the money prizes, remain property the artists. The works of all the artists enrolled in Arte Laguna Prize will be published for free on the portal artelaguna.world (with prior consent). ENTRY FEES 85 € + 22% VAT (103,70 €) for artists over 25 (born within the year 1992). 65 € + 22% VAT (79,30 €) for artists under 25 (born in 1993 and later)

ENTRIES ARE OPEN FOR THE 13th ARTE LAGUNA PRIZE international art award | free theme | open to all The call for artists of the 13th Arte Laguna Prize has officially opened. Arte Laguna Prize is an international art contest that has been promoting contemporary art for thirteen years, collecting thousands of applications from artists from all over the world, selected by a jury of excellence for the great exhibition in March in the evocative spaces of the Arsenale of Venice. In addition, the participants have the chance to win several awards in collaboration with companies, foundations, galleries, including cash prizes. FINAL EXHIBITION: ARSENALE OF VENICE 10 Contest categories: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performance, virtual art, digital graphics, land art and this year's new entry, urban art, design.
The theme is free and there are no age or nationality restrictions.
