Eligibility

SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS The selection of the works will take place at the discretion of qualified experts in artistic and environmental subjects identified by the team, according to the following criteria: • consistency with the aims of Ledro Land Art • meaning • technical feasibility • durability • aesthetic quality. The identification of the works to be carried out is at the sole discretion of the experts. ARTWORK REALIZATION The selected artists will be able to work on site from 5 to 19 June 2021 and will be hosted in a local apartment . Hospitality is inclusive of a meal (lunch or dinner). If the realization of the artwork should continue beyond the indicated term, the artist will have to independently find one accommodation for board and lodging. The proposed expenditure cannot exceed € 1200.00 including tax and social security charges (VAT or occasional self-employment). All activities and charges for the execution of the work of art are borne by the selected artist.

Number of Participants

All artists or groups of artists turned eighteen years of age can join the selection. The project must be sent by 30 April 2021 to the e-mail address: direzioneartistica@ledrolandart.com specifying in the subject: “2021 Artworks Selection”, attaching the following documents: • Selection of own artworks; • Curriculum vitae containing, in addition to personal data, telephone and e-mail contacts, a summary of the their profile with an indication of their training and exhibition / performance activities carried out in the artistic field. • Intervention project, clear and exhaustive, with the description and meaning of the artwork to be indicated intends to create and the materials that will be used. The project must be attached a clear sketch of the work and any rendering (optional) are mandatory. The documentation sent will not be returned. The data provided will be processed in accordance with the Legislative Decree. n. 196/2003.

Program Description

Cooperativa So.L.E, in collaboration with the municipal administration of Ledro and with the Rete di Riserve – Alpi Ledrensi, is looking for projects for the realization of two new artworks within the Ledro Land Art itinerary, in Pur , along the path that runs alongside the Assat stream leads to Malga Cita. Ledro Land Art is an artistic journey in the natural territory whose inspiring principles and purposes are the integration between nature and art, the relationship between man and nature, respect for the environment, the rediscovery of landscape and its links with the history and traditions of the area. The selected artworks will be made, partially or totally, directly on the site and placed in the air path open, therefore subject to change and deterioration also based on atmospheric factors. Given the transitory nature of the artworks, the professional audio-video documentation of the creative process will be posted on the website www.ledrolandart.eu.
