Eligibility

The program is open to all international visual artists with an active professional practice of at least three years. International artists residing in the US for three or more years are eligible to apply as US-based applicants. Emerging and mid-career artists working in any discipline are welcome to apply; however, students are not eligible.

Program Description

NARS Foundation is pleased to announce an open call for the next seasons (Season III & IV, 2026) of the NARS International Artist Residency Program, running from February 16–March 2, 2026. NARS Foundation International Artist Residency Program supports emerging and mid-career artists working across all disciplines through three, six, and twelve-month residencies. The program is open to both International and US-based artists, creating a shared space for artistic dialogue and international cultural exchange for an extended period of time. FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY: As part of the Open Call, US based artists are encouraged to apply for the Residency Full Fellowship, which covers all program fees for the residency of the selected artist. Please note that only US based artists are eligible to apply for the Fellowship.
