Arrival Gallery uses open calls as a listening tool. They are a way to meet artists where they are, at different stages of practice, without expectation of polish or alignment to a fixed theme. The focus is on intention, process, and clarity of thought, rather than career position or commercial outcome. Arrival’s open calls are designed to be calm, considered points of entry into exhibition-making, centred on care, dialogue, and thoughtful presentation.

Arrival Gallery treats location as part of the conversation, not a backdrop. Each open call is shaped by its setting—whether London, Madrid, or elsewhere—through scale, pacing, and presentation. Local artists are considered alongside international submissions, and venues are chosen for their character rather than visibility alone. The intention is to create exhibitions that feel responsive to place, while remaining accessible to artists working across borders.
