Most welcome to Art See Ocean Gallery residence program. Art See Ocean is run by artists Stefan and Theresa Lekberg. We offer space for artist to be in silence and stillness, to work and live in solitude in nature. During the residency we make a short film with the artist in a life conversation with us about the process of being here. ​ Retreat Art See Ocean is located in a excuisite nature reserve in the swedish archipelago, here you find a oasis for resetting and coming back to yourself and your own creative process undisturbed in a rural nature surrounded by forest and ocean. A unique space for artist to work close to and in nature. Exhibition & workshop grant As a Artist in resident at Art See Ocean you are welcome to have a exhibition, artist talk or workshop with a grant. Included in a grant can be material, marketing and/or per diem. We are arranging cultural events with exhibitions & live music, its a good opportunity to reach public & connect with other artists.

Room- the houses The residence can at accommodate six to eight artists and have four studios. Money 1600 €/month The price includes food, room and studio space. Pick up/ drop off att Skavsta airport or Vagnhärad train station. Surroundings The residency is in a nature reserve and outside our kitchen window is the most beautiful archipelago. It is a eldorado for sailing and paddeling ocean kayaks. In the beautiful forest outside the door you can find "Sörmlandsleden", witch has Swedens longest hiking trails, with fire places and windbreaks if you want to spend the night. Bring your tent and sleeping bag. ​ Connections - get here One hour drive or train ride to Stockholm and forty minute drive to Stockholm Skavsta airport in Nyköping. The best way to get here is to buy a ticket with Ryanair to Skavsta airport, they fly from most big citys in Europe. geo coordinates: N 58 47. 47 E 17 24. 32 WIFI exists
