A self-guided creative development artist residency program in New Mexico allowing artists, writers, actors, and creatives have the space to retreat the city and find solitude. Spread over five acres and backed onto hundreds of acres of open desert are several of the last remaining 150-year-old adobe homes and buildings of a town time long forgot. Serving as a stagecoach stop, saloon, general store, mercantile, post office, hotel, and residences, these historic dwellings have evolved into living and working spaces for artists and creatives who seek to escape the distractions of everyday life and to focus on themselves and their craft.
New Mexico is a vibrant and diverse state, alternating high desert powerful and raw landscapes with mountains forest and an abundance of wildlife. Explore the Gila Mountains, marvel at White Sands National Park, enjoy the hot springs in Truth or Consequences, take a trip to Marfa, Tx, discover Santa Fe and the one of a kind Meow Wolf… or just follow the historic stage coach road starting from the property and admire the dramatic scenery, just a few minutes out of your door… Possibilities are endless.
