#Ey!Studio is an independent space of contemporary creation located in the district of Carabanchel in Madrid, which advocates to artistic creation, dialogue and artistic research, as well as promotes, supports, and showcases visual arts. The “Proyecto Proyecta” residency program is designed to provide an ideal environment for artistic research, experimentation, and creation, while also fostering learning, dialogue, and professional development. Through weekly critical sessions, mentorship, and ongoing curatorial guidance, the program supports each resident in the conceptual and material development of their project. In addition, communication and visibility play an essential role in the residency: each artist is featured through interviews, social media promotion, and the publication of their project on the #Ey!Studio website.

#Ey!Studio is a space for contemporary art, creation, research, artistic residencies and exhibition self-organised by the visual artists and curators Garcia_Fernández, located in the Carabanchel neighbourhood in Madrid. Since our opening in 2017, we encourage, support and promote visual and performative arts with an emphasis on emerging art, we are interested in valuing the material and immaterial heritage through artistic practices that generate a critical discourse and are committed to their context based on different lines of research that interest us such as historical memory, feminism, interdependence, precariousness, migration processes, environmentalism, decolonialism, urbanism, gentrification and interculturalism among others.
