We want to take a moment to thank all of the people who made Athena Standards Residency the success that it was; our Co-Founders, Directors and Selection Committee, our faculty and staff, and of course all of the artists who joined us in our studio facilities, since our first session in 2018. With the ongoing pandemic, we haven’t been able to maintain a monthly international residency cohort in our studio facilities. We have decided to make our studio facilities in Athens available for long term leases for Athens-based artists and suspend our international residency and professional development program indefinitely. However, we will continue to hold our sister residency program, the Mudhouse Residency on Crete, which we have been conducting each summer for the past seven years. The Mudhouse Residency includes accommodations, meals, and studio facilities for the entire two weeks of the residency.
