Bitamine Faktoria
About
Bitamine Faktoria is a cross-border cultural production and creation factory aimed at promoting and internationalising culture, design and contemporary art. We are a project of the Artitadetó Artists Association created in 2011, based in Irun. We are committed to the territory. Thanks to our cultural projects and support programs of creation, we strengthen the artistic and cultural field of our community. Public space is our field of action. Our fundamental working tools are mediation, participation and co-creation. We think and act from a gender perspective, ensuring sustainability in the use of resources.
Local Information
Irun, Basque Country, Spain. The home of Bitamine Faktoria is located on the bank of the Bidasoa, in the Larreaundi district of the city of Irun. We live in an open and flexible space that allows creative work as well as the exchange of knowledge and experience. It has a greenhouse-office, a storage room, a kitchenette, a multiuse place and a studio for artists in residence.
