About
Buffalo Creek Art Center is a new summer artist residency for three dimensional artists in metal, wood, ceramic and multi- media with an emphasis on traditional figurative and abstract works that encompass aesthetics and craftsmanship. Artist ages 25 and older may apply as well as international artists as long as they speak English. The residency starts June 1 and ends October 30. Artist can choose between a four or eight week stay. Artists will be given free room and work space and use of all the equipment. This unique property includes a vineyard, fruit orchards, 8 ponds, a miniature train station and hiking trails.
Local Information
Garnerville Nevada is at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, a quarter mile from the California border, one hour drive from Reno Nevada and twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe.
