About

Located directly behind Oxford Circus, Fashion Space Gallery at London College of Fashion is an exciting contemporary exhibition space in Central London, presenting a critically rigorous and popular programme of changing exhibitions engaging with fashion and design in its widest sense. It was launched to a public audience in 2010 to host presentations of work by leading practitioners in the field, themed group shows, performances and installations. The ethos behind the exhibitions will be one of excellence and innovation, supporting both established artists and cutting-edge and emerging talent. The space also provides London College of Fashion students and graduates with an inspiring and thought-provoking platform in which to discover their contemporaries. The exhibition programme is free of charge and is supported by a programme of events, artist talks, lectures and performances.

Local Information

Our History Between 2003 and 2009 Fashion Space Gallery was programmed with initiatives from academics and researchers at LCF. These included solo exhibitions by LCF researchers, such as artists Lucy Orta and Helen Storey MBE, fashion photographer Mark Lebon and fashion illustrator David Downton, as well as group shows drawing upon the college’s archives, including Archiving the Century 1906–2006, and exhibitions of student projects.
