About

The Fondation Thalie’s mission is to support art and culture through a multidisciplinary program, which crosses visual arts, performance and contemporary thought and where visual artists, designers and authors can compare their practices in a collaborative and transversal way, in its venue in Brussels. The Foundation is also involved outside the walls by supporting artistic projects in connection with communities for the purpose of transmission and societal impact.

Local Information

The Thalie Foundation is open to artists and writers throughout the year for special projects. Once a year the Foundation launches a call for projects on societal issues and more specifically about climate changes. On site, the Foundation can accommodate up to four artists at the same time providing a single room, with kitchen and bathroom, as well as workspaces. The Thalie Foundation is also a place hosting two exhibitions a year and a program of encounters where the word of the artists is preponderant, at a rate of about forty multidisciplinary events per year.
