About
Heima is an independent multidisciplinary art residency for emerging and established artists. The space is a 350 square meters living and studio/exhibition space. Website: www.h-e-i-m-a.com We encourage applications from a wide range of artists of different cultural and geographic backgrounds. We are open for applications for all phases - from initial research to finishing works.
Local Information
Heima is located in Seyðisfjörður - East Iceland, a thriving port that is home to just 700 people and yet manages to support an art school, a cinema, a theatre, a technical museum, restaurants/bars, two artist residencies and the Dieter Roth Academy.
