Künstlerhaus Lauenburg
About
Since its foundation in 1986, the Künstlerhaus Lauenburg, originally a local centre supporting the visual arts and literature, has developed into an important institution in Schleswig-Holstein and has received much recognition, both in German-speaking countries and internationally. Under the patronage of the Künstlerhaus Lauenburg, two program strands are now being combined. Promising talents in the fields of contemporary visual arts, literature and composition are supported by the renowned fellowship program of the Künstlerhaus Lauenburg. The exhibition program is the responsibility of the affiliated Stadtgalerie Künstlerhaus Lauenburg. Here, an independent program of contemporary art takes place in the joint, shared exhibition spaces of the Künstlerhaus and the Stadtgalerie.
