About

Manifesta Arte and Cultura is a cultural producer aiming for new ways to create and disseminate knowledge about the Amazon and the environment since 2011. The National Institution of Amazonian Research (INPA) is a world reference in Tropical Biology, responsible for conducting researches, surveys and inventories of fauna and flora, and investigating the sustainable use of natural resources in the Amazon. In 2013, Manifesta Arte e Cultura has teamed up with INPA to create LABVERDE - Art Immersion Program in the Amazon. Since then, LABVERDE has had 5 editions, received around 100 artists, produced 4 catalogues, several exhibitions and talks in São Paulo, New York, London, Rio de Janeiro and Manaus.

Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve: ten thousands hectares of primary rainforest dedicated to scientific research with hosting infrastructure. Floating Station: A regional Boat providing access to coastal communities and aquatic ecosystems.
