More Art fosters collaborations between artists and communities to create thought-provoking public art and educational programs that inspire broad discourse regarding social and cultural issues. We prioritize community participation, approach timely issues respectfully and poignantly, and encourage solutions-based dialogue and action. More Art uses public art as a vehicle to explore many issues, ranging from immigration and war to aging and environmental justice, working with artists to create public art projects that directly engage community members. Projects are anchored and activated by sustainable collaborations with grassroots organizations addressing social justice issues specific to their communities.
