About
Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens is an internationally regarded museum of contemporary and modern art. The Museum is part of the Stichting Mevrouw Jules Dhondt-Dhaenens, a private Flemish foundation established in Deurle in 1967 by Jules and Irma Dhondt-Dhaenens. The Foundation upholds the Dhondt-Dhaenens’ vision to make their art collection, as well as culture more broadly, accessible to diverse audiences in Flanders, Belgium and internationally. Alongside Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, the Stichting encompasses two associated sites, the Wunderkammer and Woning Van Wassenhove.

Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens is located in the picturesque village of Deurle, next to the meandering Lys River and close to Ghent.
