ProjectArt is a national solution to the arts access crisis as the program provides free access to visual arts education to children in their own backyards (libraries). Since 2011, ProjectArt has made arts learning accessible to under-resourced communities, targeting minority youth who do not have adequate access to art in their public schools.
Local Information
ProjectArt leverages a comprehensive, research based benefit zone strategy to target students who are required to enroll to track their progress. ProjectArt classes are held in 42 libraries across NYC, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, LA, and Pittsburgh serving nearly 1,900 youth total.
