About
Ras de Terra is a multidisciplinary cultural space located in a rural environment in La Vera, in the region of Extremadura, Spain. The project was created with the aim of connecting contemporary artistic practices with landscape, territory and rural contexts. Its mission is to foster artistic research, cultural exchange and dialogue between artists, researchers and local communities. Ras de Terra hosts artist residencies, exhibitions, performances and public programmes that explore the relationship between art, ecology, technology and the environment. Through its activities, the organisation seeks to create a space for experimentation and knowledge exchange while contributing to the cultural vitality of rural territories and strengthening connections between local and international artistic networks.
