About
TF connects artists and designers to craftswomen and -men across India to enhance cross-cultural knowledge exchange. We mainly work with textile crafts which need attention. Depending on your ideas, wishes and requirements we help you to connect with a craft community which fits with your personal or group's needs. We aim that artists and designers establish long-term collaborations with craft communities, in order to preserve century old art and craft traditions and generate income for all involved.
Local Information
We work across India from urban to rural areas. We work as follows: you can submit your ideas any time via email: hello@textielfactorij.org Accordingly we contact you and make a personalized plan, based on your wishes. We also always first check with the craft community whether the ideas are also of interest for them. Next we help coordinate and organize your residency with the respective craft community.
