The Center for Art in Wood, located in Philadelphia’s historic Old City neighborhood, is a non-profit, contemporary art museum that interprets, nurtures, and champions creative engagement and expansion of art, craft, and design in wood to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of it. The Center activates this mission through its permanent collection, changing exhibitions, a collaborative international residency program, documentation and publications, and community engagement, events, and educational programming.
