About
Verein K is an independent arts and cultural organization from Vienna, which was founded in January 2018.Verein K focuses on projects in the field of contemporary art and culture connecting diverse cultural and social interests: critical approaches to contemporary art, creating curatorial platforms as well as enabling innovative cultural practices including diverse social groups. Verein K started with “CRIT CROSS. A Forum on Art Criticism”, a platform for sustainable promotion of artistic and sociocritical dialogue in Vienna with the aim to promote critical reading and exchange. Furthermore, Verein K will organise a residency program for international curators “Visiting Curators VIENNA 2018” who are interested in exploring Vienna‘s contemporary art scene.
