videoclub is an artists’ moving image and digital culture agency, showing artists’ work across the UK and internationally. We support artists through curated programmes, engaging the public through online programmes, screenings, exhibitions, talks, residencies and commissions. We work in collaboration to develop inventive, stimulating events and opportunities to show artists’ film and video. Working with small collectives to large institutions, we exhibit work in cinemas, festivals, museums, galleries, non-arts spaces and online, presenting diverse work by early career to established artists. videoclub was established in 2005 by Laura Mousavi, Ben Rivers and Jamie Wyld. Since then we have shown work by over 500 artists, from early career artists to established, including Laure Prouvost, Charlotte Prodger, Ming Wong, Semiconductor, Mark Titchner, Hetain Patel, Bureau of Inverse Technology, Sebastian Buerkner, Benedict Drew, Naheed Raza, Wong Ping and Rachel Maclean.

Local Information

We deliver a comprehensive online residency programme. The residency is held on: Vital Capacities is an accessible, purpose-built digital residency space, that supports artists’ practice while engaging audiences with their work. The aims of Vital Capacities are to: - provide an accessible space for artists and audiences who may be limited by resources or physical barriers from participating; - support artists to make new work and to engage with audiences (through exhibition, workshops, events); - produce a platform that reflects the opportunities provided by a physical residency – skills sharing, new contacts, critical development, space; - and to offer an exhibition platform for artists’ work in the UK and internationally.
