What Would The Egg Do?
About
“What Would the Egg Do?” is an online and traveling in-person series of exhibitions that showcase the work of artists from all identities working in all media responding to a single prompt. What Would the Egg Do?” is currently running an OPEN CALL for upcoming iterations of the project including an exhibition in NYC and a print publication with the aim of enabling local, national, and international visual (all media), literary or audio artists to experiment with new ideas and approaches to making. We encourage artists from all backgrounds and identities and working in any medium looking to experiment with our theme to submit a proposal. PROMT: We ask artists to consider the differences between linear and cyclical approaches and how concepts of change and short-term evolution might inform their making process.
