Eligibility
Artists, educators, printmakers, creators, and researchers of all levels, who are interested in working with print media and printmaking, are elegible. The program is segmented in 2 slots that you can take independently or both back-to-back: 1st SLOT Direct planographic techniques: planographic soft varnish (our own bio-technique) on aluminum plates, waterless lithography using drawing, transfers, painting, toner washes, etc that can be hybridized with colored roller plates, monotypes, Chine collé, and relief surface printing. This slot includes direct transfer of photographic or digital images on the aluminum plate. All techniques are –mostly– non-toxic. 2nd SLOT Advanced-indirect planographic techniques: focusing on waterless photolithography on aluminum plates (experimenting both with photographic-digital-drawing image positives and manipulation of digital files), including hybridization with colored roller plates, monotypes, Chine collé, and relief surface printing.

Program Description
In the year of our 20th anniversary, we are excited to launch a/p Residency (artist proof Residency) a program dedicated to printmakers, artists, educators and researchers of all levels working in traditional, contemporary and/or expanded print media who are seeking a residency experience that will move their practice forward. Designed as an accessible option, this program provides a unique opportunity to be in residency with us, refine technical skills, produce new work, and engage with Buenos Aires’ vibrant artistic community through and within printmaking. Two periods of two weeks each, when we will focus on the development of printmaking techniques for your artworks in our specialized workshop with a dedicated team of professionals. You can choose to take one period independently (either one of them, according to your interests and expertise), or you can take the two periods back-to-back, making the most out of this special opportunity. In such cases, there is a reduced tuition.
