Eligibility

- Residencies are a minimum of two weeks. - Admission is based on portfolio review or manuscript (see Apply section on website). - Residency program and the environmental surroundings are geared for adults only.

Number of Participants

The Residency program is intended for individuals, usually accommodating four artists at at time; collaborating spouses and partners with prior approval. Monte Azul Center for the Arts offers 4 individual casitas. All come with a private bath, kitchenette & private work area. Casitas can accommodate a maximum of two people with prior approval and an additional fee.

Program Description

Monte Azul Center for the Arts caters to artists in a number of disciplines & practices. We offer an inclusive residency program where diversity is a creative advantage. Example practices include: Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Writing, Mixed Media, Screen Printing & Group Projects; as well as private studio visits and discussion.
