Eligibility

Open internationally to artists, makers, and creative storytellers working across all disciplines and career stages. Applicants may work in painting, photography, sculpture, illustration, digital art, mixed media, craft, design, performance, writing, or other creative practices. Applicants must submit original work and comply with the current round’s application requirements. One recipient will be selected per round.

Number of Participants

Applications are open internationally, with no fixed limit on the number of applicants. One artist, maker, or creative storyteller will be selected to receive the $1,800 award in each funding round. Individual applicants are welcome, and collectives may apply where one authorised representative submits on behalf of the group.

Program Description

Dear Artist, ArtFundMe is inviting artists, makers, and creative storytellers to apply for a $1,800 international grant created to support both the work and the story behind it. Award: $1,800 awarded to one selected applicant Deadline to apply: Thursday 20 August 2026, 11:59pm UK time Eligibility: International applicants across all creative disciplines and career stages One artist. One $1,800 award. One creative story given the space to be heard. The selected recipient will receive the full grant, together with dedicated editorial visibility introducing their work, creative journey, and the ideas behind their practice.
