Program Description

Residents live and work in the house or apartment, studios and gardens of Studio Faire, a Maison de maître built around 1830 and still retaining its period characteristics. Accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis, with a private bedroom, plus shared interior and exterior living and work space. Rooms and studios are spacious and mature gardens offer private, shaded space for work and play. Our residencies can offer time to focus on research and development to inspire a new body of work or develop an existing project. They can nurture the growth of seedling ideas by giving the space to unselfconsciously experiment and play without expectation or obligation.
