Eligibility
Only New York State residents are eligible for the residency program. Students enrolled during the 2021 calendar year are not eligible.
Number of Participants
Most applicants are single artists, for collaborations please submit contact information and a resume for each person in the group. Please only submit one project proposal, and if you often work as a team then you only need to submit one artist statement to represent the group as well. For groups larger than two we may need to work out lodging, which we address on a case-by-case basis.

Program Description
The IEA 2021 Electronic Media / Film (Time-based) Experimental Projects Residency Program One to two-week funded residencies. Artists have access to a combination of emerging, contemporary, and historical media arts tools and materials, many are unique and not ordinarily available in a studio setting. The resident artists have 24-hour dedicated access to the IEA studio and equipment. The IEA research specialist will work with the resident artist. Additional technical staff and faculty are also available for consultation.
